Due to the emergency situation in northern Israel right now, WIZO’s Emergency Committee met last night to review Israel’s Home Front Command directives and discuss how to implement them. As of this morning, all educational institutions, including CHW Nahalal Youth Village, and 20 daycare centres, as well as 11 of WIZO’s Israel school branches are closed until further instructions.
7th graders at CHW Nahalal Youth Village in the north of Israel crowded together early Sunday morning as missiles rained down. They kept their spirits up by singing songs and playing with the youth village dogs, which they made sure to take with them to the bomb shelters.
