In light of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, Dr. Osnat Levtzion-Korach, Director-General of Assaf Harofeh Medical Center hosted a special ceremony for all of the hospital staff.

Dr. Levtzion-Korach, together with Ilan Yoftach, Administrative Director and Tami Kanti, Director of Nursing, spoke about the incredible achievements that Assaf Harofeh Medical Center has accomplished in the past year. From nearly 10,000 births, nearly 25,000 surgeries, saving over 60 stroke patients at the CHW Marla Dan Stroke and Invasive Neuroradiology Institute, and more! They thanked the employees, the physicians, the nurses, the administrative team, for their high level of professionalism and excellent level of medical care given to each and every patient 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In looking towards the upcoming year, Dr. Levtzion-Korach said, “The medical center will completely change its face, and I am sure that together we can succeed in all the challenging tasks before us. This year, we have concentrated on the patient experience, and I am very happy to receive positive responses and feedback from so many patients. On this occasion, I wish you and your families a Happy New Year and Well over the Fast, and to all our patients, a speedy recovery and good health.”

CHW, together with Assaf Harofeh Medical Center, is looking towards the bright future as we look forward to the opening of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit this year as well!
