Her Academy Takes a Step Toward Growth, Renewal, and Evolution

Dear CHW supporters,

Ten years ago, we founded Her Academy out of a deep commitment to creating a professional, compassionate, and transformative response for women facing prostitution, gender-based violence, and complex trauma – women seeking to build a new future grounded in dignity, stability, and opportunity.

Since then, Her Academy has grown into a pioneering and deeply impactful community, supporting hundreds of women each year through vocational rehabilitation, personal growth, and pathways to economic independence. Together with our dedicated team and partners, we developed a unique trauma-informed model that combines professional training, individualized support, and employment placement, a model that has become both a meaningful anchor for so many women and a leading force within Israel’s social sector.

Now, with deep pride, responsibility, and belief in the future of the organization, we are beginning a new chapter and launching the search for a professional Executive Director to lead Her Academy into its next stage of growth, impact, and expansion.

Her Academy will continue to be grounded in the values, vision, and pedagogy that have shaped the organization since its founding, principles we have developed over the years with unwavering belief, dedication, and love.

We will continue to support and accompany Her Academy as board members and strategic partners, with the same commitment and belief in its mission that have guided us since day one. This is not a step away from Her Academy, but a step toward growth, renewal, and evolution, for the organization and for us personally.
