Barb Rosenstein is a passionate and committed CHW supporter and has had many opportunities to understand and connect to the important work of CHW as a leading philanthropic organization.
Currently, Barb is the CHW National Vice-President and feels privileged to have the opportunity to make a real difference and a positive contribution to the lives of women and children in Israel and in Canada.
As a member of the CHW National Board, Barb co-chaired the hugely successful Starting Over Safely (S.0.S) Summer Campaign in both 2023 and 2024, and Fashion Blooms in 2023.
In her roles as CHW Toronto President (2020-2022) and Vice-President (2018-2020), Barb worked alongside many accomplished CHW staff and supporters while raising funds and leading numerous successful CHW campaigns and fundraising events. She has been a life member of CHW Toronto Tamid Chapter for many years. As a proud “Tamidian” she held numerous positions including President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Event Co-Chair for two terms.
Barb feels that nurturing the health and well-being of communities is vital work. CHW’s core values deeply resonate with her own, making her role within CHW both purposeful and meaningful.
