ABOUT ANAT:
Anat Vidor is an Israeli Zionist public activist, currently serving as the President of World WIZO, board member of the World Jewish Congress, and board member of the World Zionist Organization.
Born in South Africa to Israeli parents on a Zionist mission, Anat’s family history is deeply rooted in Israel’s early settlement and is the great-granddaughter to the famous pioneer Dr. Menachem Stein. After serving in the IDF, she spent time as an emissary in Australia. Anat holds degrees in Archaeology and Israeli History from the Hebrew University, as well as a master’s degree in Marketing and Public Relations from the University of Sydney.
During her career, Anat was the spokesperson for the heritage society in Israel and a lecturer at the University of Sydney in the Melton program, teaching Jewish history and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Her involvement with WIZO began in Australia, where she rose from local branch manager to President of WIZO Sydney, NSW. Upon returning to Israel in 2018, Anat continued her work with WIZO, ultimately being elected as the eighth President of World WIZO in early 2024.
Since the beginning of the war, Anat has been traveling to Jewish communities and gathering support for the vital WIZO projects in Israel and through advocacy activities. Anat has taken on the role of fighting antisemitism and writes regularly about this topic in the Jerusalem post.
Vidor heads the WIZO mission to the UN and sits on the executive board of the World Jewish Congress and as an executive member of the World Zionist Organization.
Anat is married to Gary Vidor and is mother to Rafaela and famous TikToker Yochanan Twina.
